A web survey being conducted by a group of disability organisations and researchers are appealing for families with an autistic child, aged 3 to 16 years, who has a pet dog to assist them, with valuable information that can be of future benefit to those impacted by autism.

PAWS (Parents Autism and Support), The National Autistic Society, Dogs for the Disabled and The University of Lincoln, armed with funding from the Big Lotttery, have six months to assess the effect pet dogs have for children diagnosed with autism. The survey aims to take into account, dog breed, origin of pet ownership, age and more, as relevant information to be referenced.
