The Community Business Bright Ideas Fund is a £1.85 million, two-year programme, open to community groups, associations and organisations across England which have a good idea for a community business but need help developing it, or which are just starting out. This new programme will help groups get their bright ideas for a community business up and running through tailored support and grants of up to £20,000. So if you have a business idea that will benefit the local community such as running community transport, providing employment opportunities or tackling social isolation then this could be the fund for you. The first round of applications will be accepted until the 30 November. There will be additional funding rounds in February and September 2017 and February 2018.
Be sure to read through the guidance before you apply which includes loads of information and detail on the fund and how to apply. To read more, go to: http://mycommunity.org.uk/funding-options/bright-ideas-fund/
