Action for Brain Injury Week 2017 | 8-14 May
A New Me

‘Action for Brain Injury (ABI) Week’ is an annual campaign by all Headway Groups and Branches across the UK to raise awareness of the devastating effects of brain injury. This year it runs from the 8th to 14th May. This years’ theme is called ‘A New Me’ highlighting how brain injury changes people’s lives and how people come to accept and adjust to ‘A New Me’. At Headway Essex they will be issuing press articles for release during the week and getting involved in radio interviews, PR and fundraising actvities and you can also get involved!

To support ABI week, the Headway Essex team are inviting local people, schools, colleges, businesses and other organisations to join them for ‘Hats for Headway Day’. Friday 12 May a day where you can wear your favourite hat for the day (the funnier the better) and donate £1 to Headway Essex by clicking here or texting ‘HEAD12’ followed by rthe amount you wish to donate to 70070.

Headway Essex will be out and about during Action for Brain Injury Week. Headway will be at North Essex IAPT Wellbeing Day on Thursday 11 May at Anglia Ruskin University (Lord Ashcroft Building), Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford, CM1 1SQ.
