Winter Heroes Week (4-10 March) is your chance to give a little back by saying thank you, it gives everyone in mid and south Essex the chance to acknowledge NHS, social care, council or voluntary sector staff that have been their heroes this winter.

Will you stand up for wildlife?
There is going to be a new Environment Act this year, the first in over 20 years. This could really help wildlife in our country. It could improve people’s access to nature, create new wildlife corridors, stop our soils washing away, improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions.
It’s our chance for nature to be allowed to thrive again. Essex Wildlife Trust along with the 46 other Wildlife Trusts are standing up for wildlife, because they want a wilder future. You can help too.
By talking to your local MP you can help them to understand the part they play in protecting our environment, because they will be voting on the new Environment Act.
We’ve made it simple for you to do so, find out more information here, then click “Yes, I’ll speak to my MP”.
