Hit the bullseye with half term fun at Colchester Museums

Head to Colchester Castle during February half term, to enjoy fun-packed archery sessions. Let the children travel back in time and work off their excess energy with a bow and arrow!

Sessions take place at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm on Thursday 21 February. Book early booking to avoid disappointment by calling 01206 282941.

For those who prefer arts and crafts Hollytrees have a card making craft session on the 19 February and the Natural History Museum will be hosting an animal encounter experience on Friday 22 February.

Proactive support leads to reduction in rough sleeping

Proactive work by Colchester Borough Homes in partnership with Colchester Borough Council has led to a reduction in rough sleeping across the borough.

Last year the council was successful in securing government funding, which has helped to support the considerable work that has taken place throughout the winter to reduce rough sleeping in the borough.
