NHS Mid Essex CCG is reminding people to be on the lookout for invitations to get their flu jab if they’re in the ‘at-risk’ groups.
The invitation letters, from local GPs, are being sent to adults aged over 65; those with long-term health conditions such as severe asthma or heart disease; carers; pregnant women; children aged two to eight and other at-risk groups.
In some instances, GP practices may text you instead of sending a letter.

Volunteers for Chelmsford Fireworks
Chelmsford Round Table will make a donation of £30 per volunteer to any local charities/community groups that can send over-18s to help on the gates at Chelmsford Fireworks from 3pm-9pm on Saturday 4 November in Central Park.
Volunteers will need to bring a torch, wear comfortable outdoor clothing and sign in at the VIP Tent.
