Children and young people with disabilities (aged 8 to 18 years) and living in the Southend–on-Sea area have two exciting opportunities to benefit from this spring thanks to 'Buddies Go Camping'.

Each camping weekend runs from Friday to Sunday afternoon, providing exciting activities and enabling youngsters to develop relationships with their peers.

From zip wiring and speed boating to archery and assault courses, the activities are provided under the supervision of instructors with years of experience in working with disabled youngsters.

There are two trips planned and four places are available for each trip: 8th – 10th March and 22nd – 24th March 2013.

The fun-packed weekends, organised and led by the ‘Buddies Go Camping’ team (comprising of two trained staff members and a trained volunteer) will take place at the well-equipped Danbury Essex Outdoor Activity Centre, located in seventy acres of prime Essex countryside and just one mile from Junction 18 of the A12.

To find out more or to book your place please contact Yvonne Welsh, Lead Coordinator, on 0845 160 2299 or Yvonne.Welsh@dimensions-uk.org.
