Below is an outline for a trip to the acclaimed Golden Triangle: a popular circuit which connects the national capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in northern India. Tailored with the traveller in mind, this is a once in a life time trip, which Travel Counsellors can make a reality.


Arriving in Delhi


Having cleared immigration, your Travel Counsellors Representative will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on. Your counsellor will then assist you with your pre-booked transfer to your hotel, as well as check in.


Your hotel vouchers will be issued on arrival in India, together with a mobile telephone containing all the useful contact numbers you might need for the duration of your stay.


Overnight stay – day 2 in Delhi


Enjoy a half day Heritage walk through Old Delhi – experience and explore the culture, cuisine and heritage of Delhi. This area is acclaimed for its famous food destinations and provides a fair knowledge about India in a nutshell.


This personalised tour experience will give you a taste of famous Delhi street food, Indian culture and our rich heritage. The walk takes you through the colourful and beautiful-narrow lanes of Delhi. At the end of the tour, relish a meal with an Indian family.


Overnight stay – day 3 in Delhi


After breakfast, you proceed to a tour of New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New and Old Delhi is the division between the British and the Mughals respectively. The walled city is all tradition where one will be able to glean a past life-style in all its facets, colours and spells. New Delhi in contrast, is a city trying to live up to the best of 21st century standards.


Overnight stay – day 4 Delhi to Agra 


Arrive in Agra, a city still associated with its Mughal period. Settle in, and then spend the afternoon visiting the Fort – an outstanding example of Mughal architecture. Agra Fort – the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations.


Overnight stay – day 5 Agra 


Start the day with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Taking 22 years and 20,000 men to build, the white marble was quarried 200 miles away and was transported to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants.


Overnight stay – day 6 Agra to Jaipur


You will be driven to Jaipur with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri – once the seat of Mughal legacy. This deserted red sandstone city was built by the Great Mughal Emperor, Akbar, as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is just 37kms from Agra. After the visit, continue the drive to Jaipur.


Jaipur – The capital of Rajasthan Jaipur – popularly known as the “Pink City” as the pink sandstone was used to construct the buildings in this old walled city. Arrive in Jaipur, check-in to the hotel and relax.




Overnight stay – day 8 Jaipur 


Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Jaipur including the City Palace & Jantar Mantar, the magnificent City Palace in the centre of the pink city of Jaipur.


Overnight stay – day 09 Jaipur to Delhi


Arrive Delhi and check-in to the hotel, with time here to relax before your departure.


Overnight stay – day 10 Delhi departures


Travel Counsellor Representative will assist & transfer you to Delhi airport to board the flight for onward journey.
