Milton Community Partnership is offering a programme of events, for families living in the Southend-on-Sea area, during the February half term holidays.
MCP is a charity that works to improve the quality of life of people in the Milton ward and Southend-on-Sea by supporting people to build a closer community.
Based at St Marks Centre in Princes Street, Southend-on-Sea, the organisation aims to provide inexpensive trips and activities for families through all the school holidays.
During February half term families can choose from the following events:
‘LOVE A LOT’ DAY
On Monday 18th February 11.00am-2.00pm you can make sweets and a presentation box for someone you love. Activities also include cake decorating and card making, with a love theme. The cost is £2.00 per child.
The mobile farm is visiting St Mark’s centre on Wednesday 20th February 11.30am-1.00pm or 1.30-3.00pm. The farm offers a hands-on educational experience for young and old alike at a cost of only £3.00 per person per session. You can meet sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, ferrets, rabbits, a pony and any young they may have.
ARTS & CRAFTS
This event runs on Friday 22nd February from 11.00am-3.00pm and includes painting, drawing, play-dough, junk modelling, and lots more, all for only £1.00 per child. You can drop in or stay all day and bring your own packed lunch.
All events are held at St Marks Centre unless otherwise stated. Trip prices cover discounted entrance and coach hire.
All ages are welcome, from babies and teens to grandparents. All under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
