Do you know anyone interested in football? Are you a footie fan who wants to do more than stand on the side lines?

When it comes to providing opportunities for people with disabilities or special needs, Southend Soccability are in a league of their own and are urging more people to join its inclusive team.

As the only community club of its kind in the Southend area which offer fully FA qualified coaching sessions for people with special needs, Southend Soccability comes under the banner ‘Pan Disability’, so its members range from those with learning difficulties to amputees.

The club visits and plays against teams like Chelsea, Tottenham etc. and have been very successful.

Southend Soccability currently operates for ages 14 and over. However, in the future the club is looking to increase its membership to include ages 12 and up.
There is no restriction on gender, age or ability.

All its coaches are FA qualified and hold a CDF (Coaching Disabled Footballers), First aid and Child welfare certificates, and also where required hold a CRB for children and vulnerable adults.

The club are always looking for new members and never turn anyone away.
