Chelmsford Hockey Club have over 300 active playing members ranging from under 10 to over 70 years of age and are able to field eight men’s teams and five women’s teams each weekend. At Chelmer Park, their home for over 40 years, they are equipped with water-based and sand-based artificial pitches, grass facilities and an impressive clubhouse where they stage regular social events. The clubhouse is accessible via a set of double-doors and there is an accessible toilet based in the changing rooms. The area is also served with a free car park with dedicated disabled parking spaces. The stands have ramp access and all games are free to watch. Should you wish to speak to someone at the club about your visit or would like some information, please call Sarah Burns on 07973 401335, who would be happy to assist you.

The club have recently made the impressive announcement that Olympians David Condon and Glenn Kirkham will coach the Ladies first XI this season and so it looks there are exciting times ahead for Chelmsford this season!
