Mobility product company, TGA will be holding a free scooter safe driving day on the 12th of July.
In association with Motability, Suffolk Police, Age UK, Optua, Gateopener, and East Anglian Driveability, the event will offer current and potential scooter owners the chance to learn valuable tips on safety, in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
Managing Director of TGA, Daniel Stone, sees scooter safety on the roads and pavements as crucial: “Every mobility scooter owner can enjoy carefree freedom safely without affecting fellow pedestrians and road users if they are given the right education. This is why our safety day and similar initiatives are absolutely essential to attend if you are, or will shortly become, a mobility scooter owner.”
Professional Mobility Advisors and Occupational Therapists will be available on the day to offer free driving advice, and TGA will provide a large range of scooters for visitors to test and discover what model suits their specific needs.
Every visitor will also receive free food and drinks, free entry into a draw to win £50 M&S vouchers, three months of scooter insurance, and a 10 percent product discount voucher valid for three months.
Daniel Stone continued: “I look forward to welcoming members of the public all over the region to this special free event along with influential figures from local organisations who provide key support to people living with restricted mobility.”
