The Disabled Golf Association

What a year 2014 promises to be for golf, culminating in the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in September Disabled sport is coming to prominence, the ‘can do’ attitude of human will and the power of the mind to overcome adversity

The Disabled Golf Association was founded in 2010, as a not-for-profit CIC, to facilitate access to the activity of golf for disabled people in the UK.

It would be great if you could support DGS, to show the power of human mind to overcome adversity and to encourage other disabled people to return to or start playing golf with all the therapeutic values that can bring

We are a pan-disabled organisation with amputees, one arm, blind, stroke survivors, arthritis, deaf and MS all members.

We have all disabled golfers playing together, servicemen/women ex and currently serving with civilians who have become disabled through accident/illness or congenital conditions We supply venues, professional coaches and equipment to provide a pathway from beginners at taster sessions to events and onto internationals

The DGA (formerly DGS) run 50+ events, all over the country, throughout the year, details are on the website .
