WellbeingMatters mental health peer support group meeting on Tuesday 8th January 2019, 6-8pm, Twenty-One on Southend seafront (opposite Adventure Island), Pier Approach, Southend-on-Sea – Open discussion with special guests about all things to do with mental health and wellbeing.
They will be joined exclusively by several special guests who work in the field of mental health. Including the Southend Director of the Samaritans, the Manager of REACH, the Recovery College, the newly appointed Southend Council Mental Health Employment Navigators and the SAVS Supported Volunteering Project. They will also be joined by experts in coaching, training and therapy.
The meeting will be an open discussion about all things relating to mental health and wellbeing and acquiring a better understanding of the mental health services and activities available in Southend. Michelle (the founder) will facilitate the meeting to encourage listening, sharing and talking, for those that are comfortable engaging in such discussion.
Their meetings are open to anyone who is over 18 and lives or works in Southend and surrounding areas, currently in or looking to return to work. They provide an informal, supportive and non-judgmental place to share, listen and learn from each other’s experiences amongst like-minded people. Everything said remains confidential. Feel free to bring someone along to support you as some do.
