Dancing Giraffe is a community interest company that aims to provide disabled people and their carers with the information, products and services that they need and want to use every day. These can be anything from sporting opportunities, cultural experiences, travel, restaurants, and good and services. We are doing this in many ways, by forming partnerships with local companies, organisations or sports clubs. We also have a team of Volunteer researchers, searching the internet for these opportunities.
A not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), Dancing Giraffe was devised and founded in 2010.
We applied in 2011 for a big lottery grant to set up our website and we launched the site in January 2012. After some 18 months in planning, Dancing Giraffe has become a reality.
Dancing Giraffe is simply about enabling people to access information, products and services that we need or want to use every day, whether that’s sporting opportunities, cultural experiences, travel, restaurants or goods and services. For the first time, through dancinggiraffe.com we will be able to register, log on and access information and services relevant to our individual needs.

Dancing Giraffe is a Community Interest Company. This means we operate ‘not-for-profit’ as required by the CIC Regulator.
